Sonora Pines is a Southern California desert psych trio blending hypnotic psychedelia, dream pop, and desert rock with a distinctly melancholic edge. Formed by vocalist Sophia Tzavalas, guitarist Jacob Hammersly, and bassist Casey Sublette, the band pairs shimmering guitars and atmospheric textures with emotionally charged songwriting that feels both nostalgic and modern.
After steadily building a following through independent releases and performances across Southern California, including Aviator Nation Dreamland, Moroccan Lounge, Harvard & Stone, and The Mint, Sonora Pines enters a new chapter with their debut album, Absentia.
